Sesaro Express owned by Denis and Pamela Grattan came to Welford Turn from racing for schooling.  Now successfully out on loan and enjoying life as an allrounder

My daughter's pony has been at Welford Turn for almost a year.  The yard is extremely well organised in all aspects of equine management and has excellent facilities on site and off road hacking on the doorstep.

However, whilst no doubt other yards have similar excellent facilities, this livery yard's main asset is its owner, Kay.  She is far more than a livery owner and genuinely gives more than 100% to ensure our pony is cared for as an individual.  thanks to Kay's handling and schooling of our previously challenging pony, my daughter is now jumping small courses and being placed at local shows.  Her confidence and enjoyment of the pony has soared and the pony is contented and I am so glad we moved here!

We have been livery clients at Welford Turn for nearly 2 years now. In that time my daughter has come on in leaps and bounds. Not only has Kay given my daughter confidence out hacking, but also shared her knowledge on the yard as well as in the school, helping her with her flatwork and jumping. Kay has also been a great help at local riding club competitions even when she's competing herself - always giving that moral support when needed.

Kay has helped in all aspects of our ponies, even travelling many miles with me and my daughter when looking for a new pony. Her advise has been priceless.

I have complete trust in Kay to look after my ponies so I can carry on my daily life knowing that they are being very well looked after. They are always clean even on the wettest, muddiest days. If there have been any problems with either of my guys Kay has always let me know straightaway. I trust her to make an informed decision and trust her judgement completely. I know that their welfare is first and foremost.

The staff and facilities at Welford Turn are second to none and have made the long wet winters bearable.

Kay's been a god send!
We have had some ups & downs with our new pony from napping to other ponies to loading issues.  Over the last couple of months Kay's advice & support has been priceless, our daughter and her pony's bond & confidence has grow to where they are now happily competing and have just qualified for the Nationals in October! Thank you Kay!

Having known Kay for a year now, I have total respect for her.  She has a boundless knowledge of her subject and is always willing to help and share that knowledge.  She has helped to give my daughter her confidence back after a nasty fall by taking her out hacking and cross country training. 

The time Kay spends with her liveries (especially the children), helping, supporting and encouraging is almost limitless.  If we had not met Kay I do not think my daughter would be the happy confident rider that she is today.
